Moto G : Gen 3 to have 2GB RAM, water-resistance
With the launch of next generation of the Motorola products scheduled for July 28, 2015, we are seeing more details of the 3rd -generation Moto G smartphone surface almost every week. Now, 2 recent reports have lean-to more light on what we may expect from the Moto G Gen 3 SmartPhone.
According to the import tracking website Zauba, Motorola has imported the total of one hundred ninty two units of the 3rd -generation Moto G to India for testing the purposes. The data by Zauba shows that the forthcoming Motorola smartphone would have 2GB of RAM, along with the 5-inch screen, 8GB internal storage, & white & black colour choices.
This report disagree with earlier assumption that the Moto G Gen 3 might come with only 1GB RAM, like its predecessors. With 2 gigs of RAM, the smartphone might be better positioned to take on competition as most smartphones under Rs 15,000 now offer 2GB RAM.
The 2nd report, by the technology website Android Syrup, says that the Moto G Gen 3 would be IPX7 certified, meaning it might be not be damaged if flooded under water up to 1 metre for ½ an hour. Although, unlike other water-resistant smartphones, it might not be dust-resistant. This feature might help Motorola set the 3rd -gen Moto G apart from the competitors, since no smartphone under Rs 20,000 features water resistance.
Other likely key features of the forthcoming Motorola budget smartphone include 5-inch HD (720p) screen, 1.4GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 8 megapixel or 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5 megapixel front camera, and 2,470mAh battery.
