The mobilephone, which retails an exclusively on online marketplace is Flipkart, is now available at Rs 6,000, Rs 1,000 less than its original price of Rs 7,000.

The phone is the cheapest Smartphone in Motorolas’ collection, Moto E sports 4.3-inch display with the 960x540p resolution. Motorola has used a nano-coating that makes the Smartphone opposed to splashes, so that it don’t get damaged in the rain.
The dual-sim phone runs on an Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, and Motorola has promised that it would upgrade the Smartphone to next major version of Android.
In fact, Motorola India is inviting the members of Motorola Feedback Network for an Android 5.0 soak test for the Moto E, making India the testing ground for a software upgrade for the Smartphone. If the soak test goes well, with no major functionality problems or errors or bugs, Motorola would release the software update to Moto E as an over-the-air (OTA) update in few weeks.

Moto E packsthe 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, with storage 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Unlike Moto X and Moto G1 (first gen), this phone supports microSD cards for the storage expansion. The budget offering of Motorola sports a 5mega pixel camera on back, but does not have a rear LED flash and the front camera. It can access an internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi networks, as data can be transferred via microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone has the decent 1,980mAh battery.
