Samsung has started one of the most expected device, the Galaxy S6 Edge+, in India at an event held in the Delhi today. The company had started the Galaxy S6 Edge+ last week during its Galaxy Assembled 2015 issue along with Galaxy Note 5. Going by the recent reports, the Note 5 is likely to be started here very soon.
The 32GB exception of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been valued at Rs 57,900 while the 64GB alternative has been given the Miss, for now. The smartphone would go on sale on August 28 though pre-orders open from Wednesday. The device has prepared in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, & Silver Titanium color variants. In terms of specifications, the device sports a dual-edge display with a 5.7-inch QHD Super-AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel with the resolution along with a pixel density of 515ppi. It has powered by the 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor paired with the 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
The device sports a 16MP rear camera with OIS along with a 5MP front-facing the camera. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone would have the offer in 32GB & 64GB storage exceptions and does not introduce a microSD card slot. Samsung would also be giving 100GB of OneDrive dust storage for free.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone incorporates 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, & Micro-USB 2.0. It also consist of a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
