Vivo X5Pro launched in India at Rs 28,000

‘Vivo X5Pro’ has been launched in India on Wednesday at a priced of Rs. 28,000. The smartphone is equipped with the Hi-Fi Sound & 4G LTE network.
Targeting at upper middle class, the phone comes with the 5.2-inch Super AMOLED Full HD Display (1920×1080), glass body on both the sides & a metallic frame. ‘Vivo’s X5Pro’ runs on the Android 5.0 with a special Funtouch Operating System 2.1 software & has a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-core, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM which is expandable up to 128 GB. The battery is 2450mAh battery & the camera is 13 MP on rear camera & 8 MP on front.
Vivo’s Hi-Fi excessive audio experience is powered by the custom-made DAC AK4375 audio chip for a sharper music experience.
Betting big on smartphone market in India, Chinese company Vivo has plans to launch the more devices in mid price segment here.
The mid price smartphone segment (devices priced Rs 15,000- 20,000) is approximate to be about 15 % of overall India smartphone market.
Vivo CEO India Alex Feng said that they are more focussed on the customer experience & value rather than the volumes. When we have devices priced sub Rs. 10,000, they are focussing on the Rs 15,000 to 20,000 range and we might introduce more devices.
The company, which introduced its first handset in India in December last year, is aiming to sell about 2 million smartphones in the country this year.
