The all-new ‘Xiaomi Redmi Note 2’ sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It has powered by the MediaTek’s latest MT6795 Helio X10 SoC, octa-core Cortex A53 clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

On the camera front, expect a 13-MP rear snapper and a 5-MP front-facing camera. The device runs company’s newest MIUI 7 that has based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is now lighter than its predecessor at 160 grams and measures 152mm x 76mm x 8.25mm. It has fuelled by the 3,020 mAh battery.

The dual-SIM handset supports 4G & comes with 16GB storage onboard. Besides, the company also has the 32GB alternative that is named Redmi Note 2 Prime.

The 16GB version would be made available in 2 alternatives – 4G on both SIMs and 4G-3G combination – priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs 9,200) and 799 Yuan (approx. Rs 8,200) respectively. The 32GB variant has priced at 999 Yuan (approx Rs 10,200).
