Amazon web services: Customers are satisfied with Amazon’s content delivery speed, pricing, and an integrated suite of website hosting products. The unique architecture of Amazon leaves limited flexibility and control over the content delivery.
Hoat Gator: Host grator is great choice for the small business websites and personal hosting due to their overall simplicity of use and user – friendly web management tools. While they do have some famous clients their service is not really geared toward the large scale web publishers.
Rackspace: Rackspace is now and has always had best customer support in website hosting business. They are truly dedicated to solving their customers hosting problems and developing unique instances for custom deployments. Compared to competition rackspace is bit pricey & their cloud service does not scale as well as Amazon’s.
Peer 1 Hosting : Peer1 was viewed as most flexible web hosting company in survey, with a fully integrated suite of content delivery products and tech team that would help to build and maintain the custom hosting environment. Not good option for the small businesses as Peer1 is better geared toward handling larger websites.
Softlayer: Softlayer has fantastic backend technology and had best uptime and security of any of other hosts in survey. The major negative of working with softlayer is price. In fact, every respondent familiar with their service mentioned their high service costs as a major drawback.
Blue host: Blue host is considered to be one of best options for small publishers as they offer easy setup, excellent customer support, and low & easy to understand pricing. Just like Hostgator, Bluehosts is not really setup to handle larger scale publishing operations.
LeaseWeb: If need a fully customizable web hosting environment, no one is better at helping to build it then leaseweb, famous for hosting Wikimedis European operation. They have frequently been criticized for their confusing billing practices and survey respondents felt thay may not be good fit for smaller businesses.
Go Daddy: Many of them may be surprised to see Godaddy on this list, but they are still considered an excellent choice for smaller publishers. Their price, easy of use, and wide range of hosting products are reason they enter our 2015 list. GoDaddy is an exclusively focused on helping small business owners and therefore offers very few tools for larger enterprise customers.
